Light garnet in color. Slight acid. Drinking well right now.

Good grief this is delicious, with loads of ultra-concentrated tangy Bing cherry flavors ensconced in a pillow of oak that's integrated beautifully over the years. There are some secondary hints - forest floor, earth, sauteed mushroom - but this mostly about the fruit, which is saturated and pure. A beautiful wine. Maybe not quite beautiful enough at $50 to make me want to have stayed in the Roadhouse wine club, but still, really wonderful.

Ultra smooth mouthfeel with pure red berry and subtle spice. A little pomegranate and cranberry come in on the finish. Soft tannins with moderate acidity.

Took a bottle to Zuni Cafe. It was fabulous with the roast chicken.

I think this needs either a lot of air or several more years in bottle. You could tell something was hiding in there begging to come out. I slow o'd this over several hours and it just never opened up. Sitting on my last bottle for at least two years.

Rich and ripe red cherry and strawberry. Subtle spice, medium body. Mouth coating, but not viscous. Lovely long finish.

Be not deceived by the light color. Good strawberry nose, moderate tannins. Very very enjoyable.
