Domaine LeSeurre Chardonnay Barrel Select

Popped as a companion to lazy Sunday golf viewership. Very light yellow in color. Medium-plus body with bright acidity. Clear, pure flavors of lemon curd, melon, pineapple, and vanilla wafer. Silky smooth and streamlined. Impressive concentration and length. This wine is like a warm hug; without a doubt the best chardonnay I've ever tasted from the Finger Lakes. The balance that was achieved here between oak influence, acidity, and fruit flavors is spot-on. Outstanding.

Nice color. The nose shows rich aromas of lemon curd, white flowers, minerals and a hint of peach. This is medium full bodied on the palate with very good concentration and real class. The fairly long finish features a mineral element.
