The 2015 Spätburgunder Gips from Aldinger displays clear cherry-driven fruit and a harmonious overall profile. Its structure is well-balanced and coherent, though it lacks tension and depth. The length is good, and while the wine is enjoyable and well-made, it falls slightly short in character. Still, always a solid choice at a fair price.
