A bold rye, in aroma and flavor. Distinctive rye notes dominate the profile - grainy notes and some bubblegum. This would be a good reference whisky for anyone wanting to know what distilled rye tastes like, even more so than the 95% ryes coming from the MGP distillery. It does show its youth, however, with a mild-moderate spirity flavor, and a relatively short finish given the overall bold flavor. A unique whisky worth trying.
