Darcie Kent Vineyards Alpine White

Tasted this Version #6 at its release party. Just barely dry. Bright. Fruity. Pineapple and key lime and nectarine.

Batch #5. Another nice blend of Livermore fruit. 80/20% SB/Gruner. Definitely dryer than prior batches.

Alpine White #5, released Spring 2021, features aromas of kiwi, ruby grapefruit, starfruit, & pink lily. Higher sugar levels inform the texture; but has enough acidity to pair with food well. Sweet flavors with a tingle. Palette: green mango, gooseberry, and lime daiquiri finish.

A pleasing blend of SB & GV. It is definitely OFF-DRY, but not as sweet as last one. This is batch #4. I understand the ratio is~60/40 SB/Gruner. This is the first one to use some fruit NOT from Monterey AVA, Rava BlackJack Vyd. Label indicates only CALIFORNIA. Blend #4 has citrus, peach blossoms, cantaloupe, and guava fruit character in an old-world interpretation (balanced alcohol/sugar/acid ratio) with subtle Floral Hibiscus on the aromatic finish.
