Averys Chambertin Domaine General Rebourseau

Damp but solid cork. Decanted. Deeply coloured, some lightnesss at the rim. Rich and ripe dark berries with a strong whole bunch spice and fine oak fragrance. Fruits are plummy. Solid weight, rich and tasty, has developed but fruit still dominant. Coarse for what it is, but still a great wine for its age. Feels like it could last another 20yrs.
