Another excellent bottle of this. Intense lemon, large framed with pear and a hint of herbs (thyme).

This is good, really good. Quite sweet at first sip on the attack, but the richness is thoroughly leavened by big acids, mouth coating glycerin and spicy, herbal dry extract. For such an energetic wine, there a lot of oily body but it�s mostly hidden in all the intensity. Impressive finish that lingers indefinitely. My first go with this producer and I�m impressed. 93 pts.

I got a little taste up front and seemed solid although I mostly got initial tastes of oak it was gone fast

Slightly brackish nose and more brackish in the mouth, melding into creaminess with some minerality and a stone fruit aftertaste, with drying acidity. Not the most flavourful Pouilly Fuisse I've had but elegant enough.

I think this was the bottling we drank. Definitely correct on year and producer and appellation. Good acid but really nice full fruit...delish 92-93

Pouilly-Fuiss� with Jasper Morris MW (Zoom!) : From Vergisson, which has two different hills facing across a stream. This wine is from the southern hillside, which faces N/NW and has a longer growing season. Barraud is the third of the best (per JM) domaines in Pouilly Fuisse, along with Ferret and Beauregard. Tasted after Sur La Roche. Fresh, grippy, detailed and precise. Lots of minerality and energy, nicely balanced, good concentration of fruit, slightly creamy. Very long and mineral finish. Excellent. 91-92+
