Felt simple, medium to medium minus acid, fruit is completely overshadowed by the tannins which are overwhelming, and the wine drinks completely unbalanced and hot. Hard pass.

Dark inky purple. Sweet Plum, fig, thick strawberry jam, anise, cinnamon icing, vanilla, crandberry, cherry. Sweet cherries, crandberries, blueberry, red and black peppercorns, dates, silan. Grippy tannins. Slight syrup consistency.

Decanted 3 hours + On the nose: Strawberry Jam, Wet Clay, Fresh figs, Sweet Cinammon, Nutmeg, Cured meats, Charcuterie, Black pepper, Fresh mint, Lemon zest, Pine-Sol, Sweet cherries, Blueberries, Petrol, Tar. On the palate, Grippy Tannins: Unripe Dates, Blackberry, Blueberry, Black peppercorns, Sweet fig, Sweet Cherry, Licorice, Sage. Extremely young still, definitely needs 5 years to open up. 90 For now…
