Alovini Basilicata Terra degli Eventi

First ever Greco from Basilicata, and this may be the signature white from the DOC. Shows richness, purity and depth, along with nice balance and pretty flavors on the palate of white stone fruit, a touch of almond and complex minerality. Bought all they had, and was a hit when poured at 2 dinners. Terrific, if you can find it. Age was perfect at 3 years on the vintage, too.
