Archery Road Shiraz Barossa Valley

Still deep dark colour almost to the edge, initially red cherry opening into red berries, a little menthol, a little vanillan oak and dried oregano notes, on the palate a smooth mid weight velvet mouthful of sweet and sour red fruits, nice cheek puckering acid, some anise and res licorice on the finish. Very nice, but certainly not a big beefy Barossan, shiraz... quite the antithesis... a smooth, polished well made wine!

Rich, deep and dark, fruit forward and lingering finish. Really nice
