sweet - and a lot of sugar - but also a very good freshness - acidity is there but also controlled by the high sugar level - think the wine is good and of a high quality - being 10 years it is still very drinkable

AWG Rijstaffel : Served with a group we hosted for a Rijstaffel. Deep golden color. Has a very lovely integrated nose of peach, petrol, lime, flowers, and honey. Seemed Mosel-like. Did not live up to its nose on the palate. Light medium body. Has some tart citrus/peach notions, but fruit drops off. Much better on the sniff than the swallow.
