Huge black pepper on the nose - one of the most peppery wines I have ever had including CDP's, which is something I like. A little hollow in the mid palate but finishes with a rich smooth peppery finish. Nice integrated tannins not overly alcohol driven

29th Birthday Celebration; 2/5/2010-2/7/2010 (my apartment) : A very dense and well balanced syrah from Jamey. Doesn't have the old world pepper and spices, but does exhibit very robust black fruit. The mouthfeel and finish are really nice too - you can tell this wine was very well made.
