Orchard fruit and citrus with good minerality. Medium stuffing and length. Simple palate. Much prefer his reds.

Un blanc puissant, tendu et très salin, on jurerait un Chassagne. Un très beau vin qui est sorti de sa coquille. Il a gagné en expression aromatique, ampleur et complexité. Délicieux! 92-93 pts

Another excellent bottle of this; great nose of orchard fruits, a mineral and slightly reductive vein, citrus peel, some musky notes; the palate has good depth, is nicely fresh and lingers in a lovely finish. Delicious stuff.

Good I like his wine but I am puzzled by the popularity lately

Un vin puissant et concentré, avec une belle dimension, dans un style plus chaleureux, moins gourmand et charmeur que le 2018. Cette bouteille me semble entre deux âges.

New producer for me and actually not sure I've had a Santenay blanc before, but this makes me want more. This was good stuff. The nose was citrus and mineral with a hint of some orchard blossom; the palate was like crushed stone mixed with lemon zest, but surprising depth given the freshness and vibrancy. Lovely finish. Should develop nicely and I will hope to acquire some more.

My first time with this producer. This is clearly made in an old school style. There’s some big yellow fruit on the nose with a lot of oak, but on the palate it’s just oak - it’s overwhelming, and there’s not nearly enough acidity to balance it out. A let down for sure given how highly recommended this bottle came. The person in the tasting group who had this on day 3, this picked up quite a bit of structure …

Un nez classique, charmeur, fruit jaune, melon et citron. Vin puissant et concentré, tendu et gras à la fois, qui a de l’ampleur et une belle profondeur. La finale est longue et saline, salivante, s’étirant sur plusieurs couches de saveurs. Un Santenay exceptionnel, qui paraît beaucoup plus près d’un Chassagne et pas de niveau villages! Encore jeune, il sera sans doute meilleur dans deux ou trois ans, mais il est irrésistible après trois heures d’aération. 92+

Visite chez Jean-Marc Vincent : Vin profond et long, pas encore très expressif, sauf après deux heures d’ouverture. Il a du gras et une belle structure presque pierreuse, juste ce qu’il faut de tension, une finale saline longue. Une très belle réussite, à l’image du millésime. 92+ pts

A lovely nose of pristine orchard fruits and citrus blossom. It has great fruit intensity and is textured and stony. There’s impeccable balance and the finish is laden with chalk.
