Wow!!! I had no expectations for this, but Wow! Smells and drinks like a South Rhone or Languedoc-Roussillon blend. Nose of pepper, graphite, and laser-like minerality, accented by attractive fruits. Pepper and good acid impress on the attack. The juicy, peppery, fresh mid palate presents a rounded mouthfeel. The long finish shows dusty tannins and appealing minerality. Perfect oak treatment. An excellent wine!!! Kudos to the winemakers!
