A very funky Pinot - easily mistaken for a cru beaujolais. Softened after a few hours of air, nice strawberry, rose, herb notes. A very good Thanksgiving wine.

Absolute stinger. Such great barnyard, floral funk on the nose. A beefy, gamey character too. Mulch and beef blood and venison and violets and plum. Dark-fruited on the palate with a biting acidity. Rich and luxurious, yet light on its feet. Well-structured with some gritty tannins. Gas.

Absolute banger. Banyard funk, spices and red cherries. Theres a lot more going that I‘m not really able to acutely describe. Lots of layers. Really juicy and refreshing on the palate with noticeable, yet very well integrated tannins. Again, many layers of flavors. Maybe lacking a little bit of lenght but that’s nitpicking. Great Pinot, great expression of the Jura style. Tissot really never disappoints

Smells bloody or beefy. Very dry. Feels incredibly dark for a pinot noir. Luxurious. Demands to be sipped ober a meal. Described as "farmy," and I am getting some of that, but it's primarily cow-related: beefy, manurey, bloody, etc. Hearty. Biting and drying with huge acid. Would love to compare with a more "textbook" pinot noir. And as it aged in my fridge, it got funkier. (We still reference this wine a month later- that’s how odd it was.)

Chez Zim: cherries, elegant, nice density and length, already well accessible.

Acidez muy marcada. Con comida salina mejora esa acidez y se balancea perfectamente

Direkt nach dem Öffnen probiert - Hohe Farbintensität. Rubinrot. - Nicht rund. Etwas Eichenrinde. Frucht eher Blaubeere als Kirsche. - Für mich enttäuschend.

On the drier side, ripe fruit, a bit spicy, light bodied. Probably past its peak.

This has really come around with time. Not sure about the QPR, however. 13%

A wine that reminded me of Bass Phillip on the nose but lacks a but of rich fruits on the palate. Highly aromatic, roses, strawberry, pink guava and sweet spices. Very light Color, just by the Color itself could be from the 90s. A little funk at the back, nice juiciness and rather restraint and dry at after the mid palate. Very fresh with good grip and very nice to drink.

Elegant, weightless style. Strawberries, undergrowth and hints of tobacco. Fresh and well balanced, wonderfully flowing.

Light ruby red colour. Flowers and wild raspberries on the nose with hints of vanilla. Taste of wild raspberries, strawberries and vanilla. Rich and with a good length. Goes well with light meat or poultry.

lys rød. Tynn, litt tertiær stil med røde bær, jord og litt spice. Elegant og frisk, men ikke særlig konsentrert..

Smells like juice (cranberry-berry-grape juice cocktail), plus that weird smell that dried cranberries have. Palate: medium medium-grained tannin, medium acidity, peppery. Bright but with some density. Good, if a little weird. £36.50.
