Garden Vineyards White Table Wine

Garden Vineyards was a pleasant find - a little off the beaten path (slightly North of the majority of vineyards in the Willamette Valley) - but a beautiful venue. Made from 60% Pinot noir, 30% Chardonnay, 10% Pinot gris. Their tasting notes: "Balanced wine that starts with a tangy citrus oil and lime zest character – transitioning to a toasted nut and sweet brioche at the finish. White grape, white stones, and stainless steel with a green apple finish. Great acidity on this wine, refreshing. A very delicious wine in a pleasing style.

North Willamette Vintner's Wine Trail Weekend; 4/9/2011-4/10/2011 : Nice fruit on the nose with a slight citrus note. The palate is mildly creamy and luscious, with nice soft fruits. Light on acid, and a metallic hub cap. There's some mild squash on the finish, lemon, and lightly tart. Light in flavor, but the fruity nature of this is delicious. Well balanced. Perhaps not quite as good as last year, but very tasty.

North Willamette Vintner's Wine Trail Weekend; 4/10/2010-4/11/2010 : What a surprise... enjoyed this quite a bit more than the Pinot Gris. This shows nice pleasing white fruits on the nose, with great ripe fruits on the palate, with fantastic fresh apples and even some berries. Great mild fruits on the finish... overall a very fruity wine, but almost like fruit juice. Yummy
