Short chill and short decant. Very muted nose, more buttery than floral and a little bit of meringue and candy floss. On the palate this feels quite faded. Perhaps this is just a more mineral style, which isn’t exactly a bad/unpleasant thing but it’s definitely not the voluptuous Viognier I usually expect, especially one coming from Napa.

Crisp citrus fruit, apples, apricots, honey, and some minerality. Drinking well now and should age for a few more years.

Pretty straw color. Nose of diesel, citrus fruits and caramel. First tastes were quite harsh and disjointed. Let it breath for 20 minutes, and that seemed to help. Perhaps this was consumed much too early, but it felt as if the fruit was still MIA, versus vegetation and petrol. Bottle wasn't defective, but was disappointing.
