Domaine Vetriccie Corse Ros�

My wine is actually a White Wine, not a Rose, with Vermentinu grapes. This particular bottle is apparently not in the Cellar tracker database.

This is unique blend of 50% Nielluccio, 35% Sciacarrello and 15% Grenache. It is very light salmon in color. The nose is clean, with aromas of tart red fruit, ripe citrus and white flowers. The palate is dry, consistent with the nose, with with medium (+) acidity, low tannins and medium (-) alcohol at 12%. I concur with David T's note below. Redolent of strawbs and melons and sea. Light. Not particularly memorable but quite good and a touch unique for the price (~$10).

Aromas of strawberry and salty sea breeze. The palate is dry, full of strawberry notes, minerals and wet rocks. Dry with fresh fruit and light minerality/acidity for structure. A pleasant summer wine made from unique grapes; drink now.

Salty and fresh.

A french rose with italian influence because its got sangiovese and yet is fruity I am being told. And hey, look at that price.

Combo of 50% Niellucciu, 35% Sciaccarello, and 15% Grenache. Pale pink into the glass. The nose is strawberry. Crisp acidity on the open. Strawberry and watermelon front with a nice but semi brief middle. The finish was a bit stronger than I thought from a wine that didn't seem like it was going to have much on the back. Left a tart watermelon jolly rancher. Not as smooth as I would like, but decent and complemented the foot very well. …

Salty minerality, tangy like and island wine. Tangy on the finish as well.
