Domaine Finot Étraire de la Dhuy

Tasted as part of the Wine Mosaic Tasting of lesser known varieties. The appellation is actually Isère and the grape variety is Etraire de la Dhuy. Made from 50 to 60 year old vines, fermented with wild yeasts and aged for 11 months in oak barrels. Ruby in colour with purple shades. Pefumed with sweet notes of plum and cherry. Soft, easy-drinking yet well focused and supple. Fresh and vivacious.
