Light golden. Light sweet nose of Szechuan pepper and lemon. Spicy apricot flavours and a not so rich but sweet finish. Not really concentrated or terribly interesting but a lively sweet drink.

Drank at Plateau This really has an incredible amount of orange zest and citrus on the nose. Wonderful stuff and a real bargain that goes beautifully with dessert.

A private dinner (Restaurant Karel V, Utrecht, Netherlands) : Orange gold, orange Muscat. Medium sweet, relatively elegant, ripe fruit, orange blossom, lovely balance, attractive bitters, good length.

Love this. Not overly sweet, this wine always brings a very distinct flavor profile - black tea with lots of honey and some lemon. The finish even has the tannic feel of oversteeped tea and makes it easy to drink this in quantity - thankfully this was a 750ml...

Burnt, amber orange appearance. The nose is redolent with orange marmalade and notes of dried apricots, ripe mangoes, florals, and orange zest. It's on the lighter side of viscous, sporting a crunchy texture, agreeable acidity, adequate complexity, and a streak of minerality that crescendos from mid-palate through the orange zest finish. Sweet, but not cloying, the fruit masks the alcohol (15%) making it easy to finish a half-bottle. Had it on its own but this would be a perfect match …

Matched perfectly with peach-cream pie. Very fruit-forward and juicy. Not much acidity, but not overly sweet. Would buy again (at $11 for 375ml)

orange marmalade with hints of apricot; some floral notes; would have benefitted from more acidity to counteract the sweetness.

It's a well made wine but be prepared for something super sweet with a heavy orange flavor. Not my cup of tea but can tell by the initial taste and medium-long finish that it was nicely made.

This is a sweet 2006 Orange colored dessert wine. Not too syrupy. Strong orange characteristics on the nose and Orange and Apricot in the mouth. Sweet on the tongue but light orange blossom sweetness lingering on the finish. Too sweet to drink with Thai food but great after dinner sipping wine.
