Stratus Malbec

From a great vintage in Niagara. Super pronounced fruit. Tannins still well integrated, but very silky, and very smooth. A little tired, but still Avery enjoyable drinking experience!! I am wondering if the winery might have more..

Still purple-ish in colour, dark, but not a lot of sediment. Aromas are blueberries and dark fruits, herbs, pepper, florals. Smooth wine. Nice dark berries, blueberries, medium bodied. Fluid on the mouthfeel, not thick or heavy. Medium acidity. Slight drying tannins. All well balanced. An enjoyable easy drinking wine. Perhaps a bit on the expensive side of things … $48 at the winery I believe.
