A beautiful, classy wine in a good drinking window. Relatively dark, speaks to fairly high extraction. Notes of black and red fruits and violet. Tannins are firm yet softening, nicely balances the fruit. Clean, lengthy finish. So many of these are quite ageworthy, if you go in for that sort of thing. One bottle left

Another great wine that is aging well from Willams Selyem. This 2017 Westside Road Neighbors Pinot Noir from the cellar had excellent balance of acid, tannin, and alcohol (14.1% ABV). On the nose is an array of red fruit, rose, and heavenly light caramel. The palate is an explosion of red fruits from Cherry, strawberry, and cranberry. Delicious, lot of concentrated fruit right now. Dark cherry with cola as others have noted. Rich but supple fruit, even cherry jam in the concentration. The tannin is non existent almost. This is really good. Very cherry fruit driven, not a spicy or earthy pinot. Incredibly approachable. Alcohol is not distracting or present - incorporated really well.

This is a beautiful, full-bodied, delicious pinot noir! It has luscious dark red fruit, including cherries, raspberries, and some dark cherry cola. Good acidity, full and round, plus a long finish.

I have had an up and down experience over the years with William Selyem PNs. Some are terrific. Some are OK, but not up to the price point. This one is very good and in line with the price......and, on the deep/dark side. The bottle was open for around an hour and a half. It shows as early in its drink window, but is very good right now. Hence, no reason to just let it set......try a bottle.

Opened two hours prior to consumption and it was drinking really well quickly. Classic WS in all the right ways - cherry cola, touch of earthy flavors, and silky texture with medium finish. Exactly what you hope for from them.

Well rounded with a mix of earth dark wood notes, gentle almost flowery fragrance. A nice well portioned pinot with a gentle hand. Delicious and refreshing in taste.

Such a outstanding wine from WS! Gave it 30 minutes before consuming but you could tell when the bottle was opened it was going to be delicious! Wonderful full body with solid red fruits and cola flavors. Silky smooth with a lovely finish that lingers just long enough. Possibly the best wine I’ve had from this producer. Hopefully newer vintages will develop as loveless as this one. Still has plenty of life left but sadly, I’m out of this vintage.
