Better than expected. Short decant. Grapey, concentrated black plums and ripe blackberries on the nose with a tiny bit of residual heat. In the mouth it was more blackberries and other black fruits. In its late mature phase this is aging gracefully. Most of the bite is gone but what's left is just edgy enough to balance the rich, intense fruit. Drink now.

Deep, dense, at the front end of the drinking window. Decanted the night before for 2 hours, unfiltered so TONS of fine sediment that needed to come out. Consume over the next 10 years.

Give this atleast 5 hours in the decanter. Will go for another 20 years!! Big big wine

All I remember is a ton of chocolate. Really delicious, big wine.
