What a surprise. This little gem of a wine is a wonderful find. Parker (Neal Martin) grossly under-rated this at 86. Wine Spectator was even more gross at 83. This wine is much better than these scores!

Another very easy and approachable wine from Vino Volo as I'm stuck in the Cleveland airport. It's got very bright cherry again, a bit of dustiness mid-way through the palette. Easy drinking and don't see a lot of evolution here, but could be a nice daily drinker.

So many great QPRs from Spain, especially if you are looking for something fruity and on the dense side - easily outperforms similarly priced California reds. This bottle has appealing aromatics of red forest fruit, toasted oak and cinammon, and a mouthfilling palate of red fruits and glycerine. Balanced and sensual.
