Gainey Syrah

Blue fruits on the nose and rich syrupy blue and black fruit on the palate. Strong vanilla. Sweet with medium tannins. Some nice black pepper on the finish. Pretty lush. Second bottle opened and maybe just feeling the style less. Not bad but hasn’t grown on me. The opposite in fact.

Tons of dark fruit on the nose. Blackberry, blueberry and a bit of chocolate. Palate also dark and rich tons more fruit and some rich Smokey meat notes for me. Those meaty notes also coming through on the nose as it opens, wow nice meaty tones and even some herbal stuff. Definitely putting a few in the cellar as I think this could evolve a bit.
