Cherry and tangerine preserves, plum, oak on the nose. Smooth, balanced tannins, medium body, more plum, earthy- like a french malbec. Clean finish.

I agree this is rather odd flavoured. The bouquet is reasonable but the palate gives some vegetative aspects that are not totally pleasant. It says high country vineyards so perhaps the grapes were a little green. It might be possible that after a decade this could "come right" but its only medium bodied at best and a bit difficult to enjoy right now. So the issue is why take the chance to cellar it for 10-20 years in the hope …

Odd flavor

Terrible wine. This is no April fools joke. Easter egg dye, dirt and burnt toast. Worst wine I have tasted this year.

Popped and poured, showing candied fruit and not much else on the nose. Unappealing on the palate, with light flavors of "fake" fruit I used to find in locally made Midwestern reds. No discernible acidity, unpalatable.

We both like it.

Rough and rustic. Sappy, jammy and a nasty load of bitter wood jammed through its heart.
