Prior bottle was 11 months ago and this wine continues to show very well. Pretty spices and floral notes on the nose, along with a richness, generally associated with Alsatian Gewürztraminers. Medium bodied with white orchard fruit notes upfront (especially peach and apple), moving to white tropical through the middle. Previously tasted 20 months ago at the winery, this was my first from bottle and it exceeded my expectations. Very rich, very expressive nose with lots of floral notes and even some sweetness. Medium bodied with white peach upfront, moving to white tropical through the middle. Ready to drink now. Drank it straight from the cellar and had some residual bits around the neck, so may want to put the bottle upright for a bit before opening. Very nice fall bottle. Looks watery at first. Plane yellow. Honey and citrus in the nose. Honey, sweet pear, maybe a little apricot on the palate. Enough acidity to balance it out. Tasted at the winery. More intense spice and slightly more floral on the nose as compared to the 2020 Wiemer Gewürztraminer. Medium bodied (9.5% ABV) with varied peach notes upfront and then mixing in white tropical qualities through the middle. Mid-body shows excellent richness and a lot of density.
