Domaine La Croix-Canat Pouilly-Fumé Chantepleure

Very light. Floral. Very dry. Flinty.

Pale lemon nearly clear in the glass, nose is restrained, palate is dry and crisp, fresh, balanced, citrus, lime, zest, green apple, stone fruits, hint Smokey, rocky minerality, acidity is high, body and finish are medium. A lighter style Sauvignon Blanc. Nice.

A pleasant Sauvignon bland but a little thin.

Could use more time, it’s lacking the length of taste I would expect from a sauv blanc. Still very enjoyable with green apples on the nose when slightly colder than consumption temp. An earthiness developed once it warmed to drinking temp. Short melon, and then gone. Will try a year from now

Realized probably drank too early in the window. Perhaps lataer this year or 2022 will show better.

Bruised apple, lemon, citrus zest on the nose. Tree fruit flavors, with good acidity and body.
