Domaine Billaud-Simon Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos

Deep golden color. On the nose, dried apricot, sea breeze, and mineral notes. Still firm and focused on the palate, with good acidity and length, but clearly showing signs of age. Held up well over a couple of hours, but likely past its peak. Should be enjoyed soon.

The nose has stone fruit, citrus, and crushed rocks. It has great minerality which reminds me of Roulot’s Meursault. The Chablis has good balance between acidity and ripeness. Drinking very well. 92-93
