Heron Hill Vineyards Chardonnay Ingle Vineyard

Bought at the Heron Hill Winery (Fingerlakes New York) in 2010. 2.5 years of cellaring rounded it out nicely. Nose is clean, crisp, with a touch of oak on the finish. This isn't their unoaked styling (they sell that too) but it's very different from a typical California Chardonnay in comparison. Very juicy fruit forward, tropical notes, bright clean grape.
