Domaine Gilles Copéret Morgon Vieilli en Fût de Chêne

Bottle 1350g. Moderately intense aromas of ripe/bruised Victoria plum, berry hard candy, floral top note. Dry, with elevated brisk acidity, modest tannin, full-bodied, 14% abv. Spicy alcohol and a hot finish. There's some nice fruit there, but the alcohol's getting in the way. 2nd day: fruit more prominent.
