Last bottle and that is a pity because the wine will drink nicely over the next 2+ years as well. Consistent with my previous note.

Sweet bouquet with red and dark fruits of all kinds and some pleasant herbs and spices. On the palate also a very juicy wine with a lot of sweetness, but also pleasant acidity to back it up. I wonder if the 14% abv on the label is correct. 15% is more likely, but do not misunderstand; the alcohol is not disturbing. The wine is showing maturity stage now, but this can easily last until 2017.

See my last year's note. A very juicy wine with some sweetness but well balanced by good acidity. Young and not showing everything yet, but certainly already a great pleasure to drink.

Dark purple color. Full-bodied. Heavy dose of plums, as well as dust, pepper, charcoal, even mint. Lots going on, with plenty of tannins, but overall very fruit-forward. Excellent, delicious wine, drinking well above its price point. Keeping it for a couple years would be a good idea.

The bouquet is a bit locked. Same on the palate. There is some spiciness, black fruit and good freshness. Full bodied. Ok tannin. Needs a few years of ageing. Next bottle in 2014. For $15 a good qpr. 87+

Alain Junguenet Selections-2010 CdPs (Benny's Chop House Chicago IL) : nose: excellent depth, though on the tight side, with balanced tones of spices, black fruits, lavender and bits of red fruits taste: medium/full bodied with good firm tannins. Balanced with good depth and good tones of lavender, spices, and red fruits overall: This does need some time, but is very good right now.
