I had high hopes for this wine after really enjoying the Tannat Cab Franc blend from this producer. This, to me, tasted like one of those mass production inexpensive CA Cabernets (e.g., $2 Chuck). There were flashes of interesting mint, forrest floor and spice flavors, but not even letting it sit for a couple hours made any improvements on the over-manufactured fruit flavor.
