Manni Nössing Kerner

14% alcohol. Medium-deep yellow-green color. Rather chemical and rubbery nose with slightly restrained aromas of swimming pool and chlorine, rubbery swimming toys, some red apples, light zesty citrus fruit tones, light notes of petrol and a hint of quince. Overall quite odd and not particularly attractive nose. Very pale gold. Nose w stone fruit, white peaches, green apples, minerals. Medium body w grapefruit, grapes, lovely acidity, minerals. Long aftertaste w grapefruit, a bit of warmth (not much for 14% alcohol!). Good balance. A bit overpriced, but probably the best Kerner we have ever tasted.
