Bodegas Portia Ribera del Duero Ebeia Crianza

Had this wine, albeit a different vintage, in a restaurant in Majorca a few years and loved it so bought it again in an amazing wine shop in Begur in Spain. Tar and plum nose. The palate has ripe plum fruit, blueberry, some tannins still there, good acidity, nice balance. Not quite as good as I remember but very good for the price. Wine is often about a time and a place....
