Domaine des Pothiers Côte Roannaise Bulles

Again opened with dessert - well liked. No notes because at the end of long meal with lots of wine - but it really hits the spot and the bubbles wake the palate.

45F, PnP. Light red/darkest pink. Lots of small bubbles. Strawberry on the nose and palate. A little like a strawberry soda. Just enough acid to hold together. Served with a not too sweet dessert and well liked. I think too sweet for aperitif for most americans. Probably good with sweetish sauces/preparations.

Honeysuckle and bright fruit nose, nice acid, little sweetness. Had by itself and in a shrub mix.

Bubbly "fruit juice" in a REALLY good way!

This was not about bouquet, texture or length, but all about going into a bottle with no expectations and being rewarded with a pure, low-alc, highly effervescent, highly enjoyable beverage that proved a perfect match to pan-seared sockeye on a warm day on the deck.

Great flavor, semi-sweet, very effervescent. Will buy again if offered by Garagiste.

Not overly complex, but very well made and enjoyable sparkling rose. Went great with roasted pig.
