14.5%. Clear light gold. Shows very pure. On PnP, modest+ nose. Some oak, some butterscotch, vanilla, hint of tropical fruit. After a few minutes, even more butterscotch. Actually Butterfinger. That's it...butterfinger my wife and I decided...minus the chocolate of course. Nicely balanced on the palate, medium+ bodied. Tart acidity, chewy fruit. Tart lingering finish. Very nice. Totally different showing from my note of 9/8/24, which was reductive. This was orange sky fire year, but again my thinking is that this …

PnP w/15 mins glass time. Clear, bright med straw color. Rich taste w/ some oak and still decent fruit with a long finish. Med body. Nice. Drink now. $72 winery direct.

This is a light yellow colored wine. The flavors are typical for a California chardonnay with lemon custard, fruit salad, and apple with a bit of salinity. The best feature of this wine is its wonderful balance between fruit, acid, and oak. This is an ample bodied wine with a soft consistency. Like all of the Williams Selyem portfolio this is a well made wine in the middle of the road in terms of all their chardonnay bottlings.

Very interesting! Tastes very different on day 1 and 2. Day 1 is lemony, apple and balanced, not too oaky, day 2 shows some honeyed character and more minerality.

This was a disappointment. Reductive in a way I don’t usually get from WS. This was orange sky harvest year, but I think this was likely in by then in mid sept. Other notes are different than mine, maybe an off bottle. Kind of a viscous reductive caramel. Juicy reductive finish. Stored impeccably since release.

For my taste, I prefer this to the Heintz Vineyard. Really tasty stuff.

Delicious Chardonnay. Richer style with great acididity paired so well with everything from Hamachi Crudo to Lobster bisque, Turkey and all the accompaniments. This is a food wine but held up so well as a stand alone drink as well.

Pale golden straw in color. Bright citrus and Meyer lemon on the nose with floral notes mixed in. Picking up some golden delicious apple notes. Moderate acidity and finish.

Extremely smooth and well balanced, this wine exhibits fruit and medium floral notes with medium mineralogy before tapering off to a nice finish. Characteristic of this style, acidity is well controlled and muted far more than with its French cousins and is a good compromise offering between Chardonnay and Sav Blanc fans.

Really great vintage for this wine. Well balanced with a combination of citrus and cream. Not Tart with enough acid to hold to all in balance. Nose shows the citrus- lemon and grapefruit. Palate shows the fresh cream without being overpowering.

I decided to try a young one, we got these about two weeks ago. We normally drink them older, and all of the WS Chardonnays are complex and wonderful after two or three years, or more, in the bottle. But we were making Dover sole with a lemon cream sauce tonight, and I wanted to open this. Great decision. Medium golden color. Complex nose, lemon and honey. The lemon on the palate jumped out with the lemon cream sauce. The …
