Leoness Cellars Cinsaut Port

I absolutely love this stuff! It doesn't have the classic Brandy-like flavors of most 'true' ports I've had; rather, this is more fruity, more like a sweet red wine. But such wonderful texture and bursting flavors. This is like port candy! I am already seeking out more.

The nose is very deep and ripe berry toned. It’s dense, but it also comes across clean, not overly extracted. It’s piney, with a roasted quality. Mocha and black raspberry jam make up the core, while a poached plum tone sits on the edges. This is a very smooth, intense, and jammy wine. It’s lush and intensely sweet, bursting with blackberries.
