Opened up into an enjoyable light pinot. I wouldn't pay the 25 bones for it, but somebody gave it to us, and we enjoyed it -- what more do you want? No reason to keep this one any longer.

Great QPR. Light translucent Pinot. Benefitted significantly from decanting; opening up and becoming much larger. A great accompaniment to grilled rib eyes, Nuke's bacon-wrapped scallops and artichokes.

“Discover California’s Wines”, Wine 4 (non-blind): The wine was light to medium ruby in colour and offered a youthful nose of mixed berries, blackberry, dark cherry and some smoke. On the palate the wine showed mixed berries, blackberry, dark cherry and some smoke, with medium-level acidity, well-integrated tannin, a good mouthfeel and superb length. The medium-bodied wine was very balanced and drank well. Great wine. Terrific value!
