No formal note, first time with this varietal, very enjoyable, with red fruit and plenty of acidity to hold it up, has a light forest floor element to it as well.

Right on opening, notes of black pepper on the palate...this subsided a bit later. Nose of cherries, red fruit, earthiness. Palate well rounded, red fruit, sour cherry, black pepper, nice earthy minerality. Unique, and absolutely worth drinking again

Bright tasting high altitude wine, medium body carries medium plus acid. Cherry flavours, Rocky notes, good balance, good length. Would absolutely drink it again. Paired well with hummus and various dip appetizers alongside pita bread.

Nice. Dark fruits with a good acidic spine. A bit of tenor notes and some clay. Good structure with medium tannins. Slight raw yeast notes on the finish. Nice presence overall and very drinkable.

The previous note shocked me. This wine was cherry dominant, hint of tea leaf, light spice, light body, drinks like a light Oregon Pinot. Tasted out of Coravin, interested what opening and breathing will do.

If tasted blind, I would have guessed a Willamette pinot noir. A mix of red/black fruits, forest earth and tea. An interesting savory/iron edge on the palate. I suspect it will improve a little with a few years. Probably the most competently made red wine I've tasted to date east of the Danube, but more expensive than most too.

Black pepper dominates on the nose and palate. Quite exotic, as I've never tasted that so strongly in a wine. Overall, medium to full-bodied, with good structure and mouthfeel, and hints of red fruit to go with the black pepper.
