Pale, almost neutral whitish-green color. Very rich, expressive and green-toned nose that reminds me a lot of Sauvignon Blanc. Open aromas of grassy greenness, crushed nettles, rhubarb, some ripe gooseberries and a little bit of sweet whitecurrant. As good an English Bacchus as I have tried - properly dry and refreshing with nicely mineral aromatics, a very satisfying alternative to Sauvignon Blanc.
