Indian Springs Cabernet Franc

Just right, balanced and still with plenty of life. Franc character shows through with good cab backbone. Ageing well, could keep going.

Drank at Sabaku Sushi in Moab. Drinking very well now, deep dense fruit.

Complex, mature fruit, drinking well now.

Alive and drinking very nice right now. Decanted and the table loved it.

At the Zuni. Approaching a good drinking window. Blackcurrant with a green pepper/vegetal note (pleasant), great mix of fruit and pepper. Drinks well now.

Oaky & earthy, blackcurrant & gunpowder. Better the second day, oak has mellowed out, showing better chery fruit, very smooth and cab sauv showing through in the background, but still mostly fragrant cab franc on the palate.

Really enjoyed drinking this wine. Properly subtle.

What a lovely wine! Very translucent, rich garnet color. Tobacco, vanilla and oak on the nose opens up to dark fruit after decanted for a couple of hours. Notes of black cherry, blackberry, clove and blueberry on the palate. A very balanced wine with the complexity of Cabernet Sauvignon but very smooth tannins. Soft, subtle finish. Just dynamite with blue cheese. I could drink this all day!
