Famille Gonnet Châteauneuf-du-Pape Élegance de Jeanne

The Bruniers are cousins of the Gonnets and these are the vineyards first planted post phylloxera. The Grenache is 120 years old and the Syrah and Mourvedre is also very old. The latter two raised in demi-; not produced every year. This is big and rich and black powerful stuff. And big and full on the palate as well. Massive dark stuff.
