Purchased at the winery after tasting under a tree with friend Manu. The table was planks on sawhorses, old-school Sonoma. Still holding its own 10 years from vintage.

Has a dark color and at 7 years old has I integrated aromas and flavors. Cherry, cola dark plum and tertiary flavors of sous-bois and brown sugar. Finish is short and dry with a little tartness at the end.

Clear pale ruby. Nose: clean, medium + intensity with aromas of the forrest floor upon opening, changing to roses and cherries after some time. Nicely developed dry wine with medium (-) acidity, low tannins, medium alcohol and light body. Finish is medium (+) with lingering perfume, on the palate- cherries, perfume, roses, strawberries- medium intensity. Well balanced, complex wine of very good quality. Drink now.

Great wine. Last review had me worried it was past its prime...definitely not. Actually think it's perfect, drink now or within the next year. Old world style but good fruit.

Decanted. Delightful and currently showing better than the 2013 Ceritas from this vineyard. 13.3%

Dark ruby color; savory, horehound, tart black cherry, cola, baking spice nose; savory, sous bois, cranberry, tart black cherry palate; needs 1-2 years for stem tannins to integrate; medium-plus finish
