Pnp. Leaning toward an orange hue. Nose of light vanilla and apple, among other nicely complex aromas. Palate is thinning out and showing its age. Oxidation is heavy at this point. Still an interesting wine for the wine geek, with a long run, but definitely heading downhill.

PnP. Dark Golden Hue. Nose of apples and fall leaves, follows through on the palate. Mellowing out with age. A slight hit of vanilla. Superb.

PnP. Gold in the glass. Typical BCV Chard flavor profile here. I haven't had this wine in a while, and I'm reminded again why I love these Chardonnays so much. Nose of savory herbs and apple cider. Both follow through on the palate, and are joined by fall leaves, good minerality, controlled oxidative notes, and also some restrained nutmeg and vanilla creaminess. This wine is just really pulled together right now, and everything seems to be in very good balance. …

I drank this beyond its prime. That was disappointing! Probably should have drunk it 5 years ago.

Slightly oxidized but still tasting good in an old world style. Oak flavors well integrated with flavors of hazelnut and minerals. This is wine you either love or hate and our wine drinking friends were definitely split on how they felt about this.
