Medium dark red. Ripe, rich dark fruit, smoke, green pepper and roasted meat nose. Warm dark fruit and coffee bean flavours and a deep tannic finish.

Opaque brick with pale meniscus. Lean, velvet mouth, tight clean finish. Complex nose evolving over time. An elegant terroir forward wine of distinct form representative of merlot. Optimal now. Good value.

Dark fruits and lots of dark chocolate, coffee on the nose. Tasting notes were, dry, tannins, which hid some of the fruit, yet it was smooth and I can see this getting better over the next couple of years.
