Light nose of oranges and pinapple. The palate starts off with light notes of this but has a strong citrus acidity that comes in early and holds throughout the experience. Nice long finish with holding acidity. Food wine for sure, but delicious and with a nice feeling acidity regardless of strength, this is a a very nice dry Riesling.

Wine Blogger's Conference 2010 - Opening Tasting (Wine Blogger's Conference, Walla Walla, Washington) : Light pears and apples show on the nose. The flavors are light on the palate, with a hint of sea spray working its way around the fruit. The acidity is solid when it appears on the mid palate. Notes of citrus on the nose. Not particularly sweet for a Riesling. Nice balance of acidity which leads to a good mouth feel. Overall a light wine, much more suited to an aperitif rather than to be paired with a meal. That being said, for the value, it's one of my favorite Virginia Rieslings.
