(Disgorged in 2023, base year 2020, 100% Pinot Noir from parcellaire ‘Les Carelles’ in Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, dosage 4 gr/l) Youthful nose at first showing yeast, freshly crushed red apples, some hints of spiciness and lime citrus notes. Smoothing acidity showing ripe red apples and some butter touch with a lime zesty note on the lengthy finish. (Best with 0-3 years extra cellaring)

Quite dry, nice bubbles but not plenty if them. Fresh citrus, grass

Nose is a bit funky; yeast bread and ripe pears. Palate is similar, good acidity but kind of a short stocky finish. Good if simple champagne.

(100% Pinot Noir from Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, dosage 6 gr/L) Light yellow colour with a reddish hue and a youthful nose showing red apples and minerals in a nice and pleasant way. Smoothing red apples acidity on the refreshing palate and showing a lovely minerals driven salinity on the delicious finish. (Probably best with 2-6 years extra cellaring)

First time having this producer A nice QPR champagne. Some brioche and biscuit notes. Not overly sweet or tart. Very well balanced with small bubbles that lasted well. Paired well with a somewhat fatty meat lovers pizza. Would try again.

(100% Pinot Noir from Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, dosage 6 gr/L) Maturing nose showing hazelnuts, sweet red apples and some lime peel notes. Smoothing red apples acidity with a nice creamy mid and with a finish of ripe yellow apples leaving a sweetness on the tongue. (Probably best with 3-6 years extra cellaring)

My first time having this producer. Very aromatic, beautifully pure, with notes of red berries, red apple, some chalky minerality, sweet spices, salt. It‘s medium-full bodied, with nice mousse, medium perlage, medium-high acidity and good length. The dosage is very well measured, while a touch higher than what I usually drink, but beautiful here. A very nice Champagne that is full of character.

Formal notes not taken. Elegant, well balanced. Good toast, some gentle almond. Versatile and good QPR.

Not so dry but fruity and rich. Lower acidity level than most. Rich and flavorful. The Pinot Noir comes through. One of the top Champagnes.

Tog inga detaljerade noteringar.

A nicely balanced Blanc de Noirs. despite the low dosage there was a sweetness to the aroma, red fruits including red apple, but there was also some spice in the back ground. a lovely easy to drink roundness with a balanced acidity. perfect to serve with red meat.
