Stunning. Deep dark ruby core, moderate to big legs. Pale pink at edges. Pop and pour. Instantaneously, the nose lets you know that this is something special - dark, fresh fruit and cigar box. So incredibly balanced and cohesive, rich, hits every part of the mouth. Long finish filled with brambleberries. Wow

Excellent. Immédiatement prêt à boire après ouverture. Vin très fondu, sans aucune lourdeur malgré ses 15°.

2010, a very strong year. It took three days to appreciate this wine completely. Tart at the first day, round at the third. Very fine value and still years ahead.

Decanted for an hour; light sediment. Ruby red color to the rim. A floral nose of cherries and some minerals. Medium-bodied jammy cherries with some heat on the palate.

Right after opening it tasted a little bitter, especially on the finish. After about 30 minutes it opened up nicely. I drank it without food, it probably would have benefited from some food to help break down the tannins. Its a very good wine, not outstanding, and a pretty good value, if you were able to get it for less than the release price of $30 per bottle.

Cherries and some lactic impressions in the bouquet. Also herbs and spices. On the palate elegant and not extremely concentrated. Good fruits and garrigue. This is in fact a textbook Cotes du Rhone as you expect it to be. Good quality, but not extremely complex. 87+

Consistent with my previous note. Needs time to open up. Decent and this wine will evolve into a spicy/minty micro sipper. It takes 2-3 hours to hit it's stride.

Winehound, Santa Barbara- European Wine tasting 7/20/13; 7/20/2013-8/2/2013 : Notes of savory spice, floral, tea and cherry on the nose. Flavors of bright black fruit, tea leaf, violet and lavender. Fine silky tannins and a lingering finish. Very nice.

Aromas of red flowers and red berries. Bright red cherry, red raspberry, and vivid acidity. A nice bottle that is very food friendly. Subtle earth coming out on the long finish.

Funny all the reviews that poo poo the wine for not being quite 95 pts. Im not saying it deserves 95 pts. Yet for the fact that its 10 bucks should be enough to give it extra merit. Back the truck up on this one. Phillipe cambie knocks it out of the park.

Mourvedre seems to dominate. I think needs more time.

The nose showed black cherry and blackberry jam with lavender and rock dust. On the palate, it was medium-bodied, showing rich textures and a hint of sweetness to its rich, dark fruits and spices with an acid-driven core of minerals. A bit of alcohol was perceptible into the finish, which was slightly dry with palate-staining fruits.

Intense and full bodied wine with lots of excellent fruit on the palate: Notes of dark cherry, raspberry, blueberries, intermixed with minerals and black licorice. This is a beautiful effort, not overdone, well balanced and pure. Still, I would opt for drinking this over the next couple of years as I'm not sure how well it will age. 94 wa points is a bit too generous.

Color dark purple & somewhat translucent. Slight edge of alcohol on the nose, raspberries & cherries - lots of fruit. Excellent fruit on the palate with a very nice, sharp, offsetting acidity. Lots going on in the interplay between the fruit, acid and then the tannins (which are quite understated) bringing up the rear. Short to medium finish, slightly disappointing - but I'm splitting hairs. This is a great mouthful!

Not a Parker 94 yet...I doubt ever. Quite bold and lots of bright fruit. Lovely nose and moderate finish.
