This wine is great. It is NOT a california Cab. It drinks Old World style. Leather, tannins, earthiness. Better with food - becomes much more expressive and fruit emerges. This is an Italian wine, grown in California. Drink it.

Amazing nose on the pop n pour. Earthy leathery and yummy. Big tannins but not overpowering. Another 3-5 years should soften them but the fruit is expensive right now. Will it get better? Time will tell.
